Rooster Booster Junior - £25.00

The Rooster Booster Junior ignition system is a full electronic ignition system for most engines equipped with a Magdyno. This module is extremely popular with owners of the humble BSA Bantam (D1-D7) although it will drastically improve most Magdyno equipped machines.

It is very easy to fit with just two wires and you can remove your contact breaker assembly and condensor once fitted, although they can also stay in place (unconnected) in case you wish to remove your Rooster Booster Junior in the future,

Like most electronic systems, your machine must be correctly operating on its original equipment before fitting.

Rooster Booster (RB1-6P) - £45.00

The Rooster Booster is our main product and is available in a few different specifications.

This is the 6 Volt Positive earth version.

The Rooster Booster is a points assisted electronic ignition system, sometimes refered to as an 'Energy Booster' or 'Transistor Ignition System'. The original engine points and timing advance mechanism (if fitted) are retained, although the condensor is removed completely.

The contact breaker is used purely as a low voltage, low current switch and points errosion is eliminated, meaning no burning or pitting. Contact breaker life should therefore be almost infinite.

Our modules can be used on most single cylinder petrol engines (with or without distributor) OR multi-cylinder petrol engines equipped with a contact breaker distributor.

The system is suitable for Motorcycles, Cars and Commercial Vehicles.

Solid State (Bridge) Rectifier - Single Phase - £5.00

Rooster Booster Panel Fitting Kit - £6.00

This optional fitting kit allows the Rooster Booster to be neatly bolted directly to a panel or bulkhead. The Rooster Booster is supplied with two purpose made brackets which slide into channels in the side of the module enclosure. Bolts or screws can then be used to faster these to the vehicle. If you do not wish to purchase this unit you should cable tie the module in place for safety.
